I will stamp all over 'credible combatant' Paul - Anthony Joshua
Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight round contest which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the combatants came face-to-face to publicize next month's bout.
Ex two-time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge disparity - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I'm going to damage his features and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will seriously aim to hurt him. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
Despite such comments, a calm Joshua and social media star Paul - usually recognized for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul instead targeted ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK rival Tyson Fury - and declined a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
However, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, regularly earning substantial earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in round four or five and stated he would prevent the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.
"It will be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers met for the customary confrontation, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it highlighted just how unlikely this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is truly proceeding.
